TRACKINGSAT is a new conception on satellite tracking software. TRACKINGSAT computes antenna azimuth and elevation in international locations. City Database

The number of cities includes cities in Alaska, Canada, United States, Mexico, Central America, Bahamas, Caribbean and South America. Are +780 cities in city database. You choose your city and the values of latitude, longitude, city, state and country name are immediately showed in screen. Also, you can type the latitude and longitude of your home earth station. You can to edit city database freely and to add new cities.

Satellite Database

The number of satellites includes satellites in Clarke Belt. Are +320 geostationary satellites in satellite database and divided by International Telecommunications Union in three regions ITU. Also, you can to choose your satellite from 7 broadcast bands as C, Ku, Ka, L, S, X and UHF. All satellites are recognized by their name, manufacturer, date launch, orbit position, transponders, operation band and lifetime.

Also, TRACKINGSAT supply Satellite Database Update feature to update satellite database with the most recent version and update database by means of Internet connection.

HELP FILE

A hypertext program documentation is supplied in the SAT.CHM file. This is a HTML Help file, which can be loaded and viewed and is directly accessed from via the menu bar "Help/Help Topics" command. This file contain all the information you need to use the program. The HTML Help includes the provision for easily printing any topic or topics from the SAT.CHM file.

QUICK-START INSTALLATION

We recommend that this program be installed to, and run from, a hard disk. For install instructions go to DOWNLOAD Center homepage.

A group, is automatically created when install file is first run, and the files are located in the default directory of the installation. This group will contains all necessary files. Once installed and running, all controls are accessed from the menu bar or button controls. A complete summary of all commands is provided in the SAT.CHM file.

PRODUCT REGISTRATION (Pro Edition Only)

TRACKINGSAT is shareware, not freeware and not public domain software. TRACKINGSAT is a copyrighted program and requires purchase of a license. Non licensed users are granted a limited license to use the software on a 21 days trial basis for the purpose of determining if TRACKINGSAT is suitable for their needs. The use of TRACKINGSAT, except for the initial 21 days trial, requires registration. If you continue to use the program after the 21 days period, you are expected to pay the registration fee.

The registered users receive by eletronic mail, a license file that register the software.

Multiple user site licenses are available for this product. Site license registrations are a cost-effective way of registering several end-users for a substantially lower per-copy cost than individual registrations.
